A while ago I was casually scrolling through my instagram feed when I got an ad for a beautiful t-shirt. It was white with little "worms" in all sorts of colours on it. I decided to check out the page the ad came from and instantly fell in love with the clothes I saw. The page belonged to Mokuyobi. So when Black Friday came around I took my chance and ordered two t-shirts from them. Today I got them in the mail, so I'll be doing a short review.
Mokuyobi is a clothing brand based in Los Angeles, USA. They make super rad clothing and accessories with fun prints and designs and honestly? Everything they make is to die for. I'm currently saving up for one of their watches and backpacks. I say saving up, because their items are quite pricey. But I understand that that's because they manufacture everything in the USA and because it's original designs. I don't know about you, but I'm more than willing to pay extra for the unique.
ORDERING, SHIPPING & PACKAGING
I ordered 2 t-shirts: the Noodle Doodle tee and the Jan Casper tee. I wanted to order more but my budget wouldn't allow that, sadly. I am subscribed to Mokuyobi's newsletter and thus I got a 20% discount code as a subscriber, for the pre-sale of Black Friday. Ordering was easy and went smoothly. So then I just had to wait for the package to arrive. Coming from the USA, I knew it would take longer. In the end it took about 3 weeks to arrive. I did have to pay a customs fee, but I usually have to do so when ordering from the USA so I knew that beforehand.
The shirts were packaged in a regular shipping plastic bag, or whatever you'd like to call those. It's those plastic shipping bags clothes always come in. If you ever bought clothes online, you know what I'm talking about. Anyways, when I opened it I saw they included gifts! I was honestly so happy with that. They included stickers, a Mokuyobi enamel pin & one of my fave candy! Also the cards they included with information also looked super nice, so that was definitely a plus.
I ordered both tees in large because I'm tall and I like tees with a loose fit. The material feels nice and gentle. Thin, but not of bad quality. Not at all, actually. The tees feel like they're high quality. The fit is also really nice. The length is perfect (even though I tucked them into my jeans) and so is the amount of bagginess I had hoped for. The colours are super bright (just how I like 'em) and absolutely stunning. Now let's just hope my washing machine won't fuck them up.
I'm very satisfied with my order, from start to finish, and I'm super happy that I found out about this brand. I think their designs are one of a kind and definitely suit my daily style (which is wearing so many colours people's eyes start to burn). I will definitely be buying from them again (I have an entire wishlist by now) and I recommend this brand to all those who want to spice up their wardrobe with some colour.
A while ago I was contacted by a jewellery company called Civion with a sponsor request. They said that they wanted to send me a jewellery piece of my choice if I only paid the shipping. Before I agreed I looked into it because I know this is a known scam, but the site seemed legit, there were people on instagram who tagged the store in a photo of them wearing the jewellery, and there were some positive reviews. So I figured, why not?
Two weeks later I received the choker I had chosen. It was cute, but I immediately recognised that it was cheap quality. The description of the choker did say "lightweight" but that does not equal cheap. I wasn't sure what to do with this because they expected me to make a post about it. I didn't wanna lie about the quality but I also didn't want to get in trouble with the company (because I'm a wuss). But when I found out where they most likely get their item from, I decided it was time to write this post (and make a video).
I typed in "triangle choker" on Aliexpress and I found the exact same choker I received for $0.35. They sell it for about $32. That's an insane amount of profit they make. I then thought "maybe Chinese companies stole their design" because I didn't want to jump to conclusions. But when I found a lot of their items on Aliexpress I became pretty convinced that they do indeed get their items from there. Either that, or their supplier is scamming them. But it's disappointing nonetheless.

It's been a while since I've done a lens review. I haven't really had time for them. But Klenspop was kind enough to send me a stunning pair of coloured lenses: the Mojito Green lenses from the brand Lenspop. So without further ado, let's get into them!
I'm not going to discuss the packing, shipping and communication because it always remains the same (I've done a lot of Klenspop reviews in the past). So let's get right to the lenses. When I got them, my first thought was "wow, these are super light! Are they even gonna show on my eyes?". The answer is: yes. They do show. Very well.
The colour on my eyes is absolutely stunning and it looks pretty natural. Like I have very intense green eyes, which I love. I can definitely see myself wearing these casually.
The first thing I noticed about these lenses was that when I put them in, they immediately felt comfortable. Often the first ten minutes of wearing coloured lenses are quite uncomfortable due to my eyes having to adjust and the lenses kind of itching. But with these I didn't have that at all! They felt very nice.
After wearing them for a day I found that they remained pretty comfortable but that, just like with many other lenses, my eyes would get pretty dry and the lenses would start to itch a little bit. However it's more comfortable than many other lenses I have.
I would give these lenses a 9/10 because they look amazing and are quite comfortable. I'm not sure how they would look on someone with brown eyes, since they're pretty light. My guess is that it would give a green glow. These lenses are great for casual wear but could also be worn for cosplay. I will definitely wear these more often!

It's been a while since I last dyed my hair. After having had my hair blue around this time last year, I decided to let it grow so it could get healthy again. A couple weeks ago I deemed it healthy, and thus I bleached and dyed my hair again. I used a brand I haven't used before: Lunar Tides. I decided I might as well review it!
Lunar Tides is a brand that sells 32 different shades of hairdye. They made this many shades so you can easily find the colour you're after without having to blend different dyes or using diluters. Their dyes are 100% cruelty free and they are vegan.
I chose the colour Solar Flare, which is orange. I've never had orange hair and I figured I might as well give it a try. I first bleached my hair with Manic Panic's vol 40 bleach kit. After that I applied the dye. The dyes come in a jar of 4 oz, and for me that means I can use it twice. The packaging looks very cool. It has a witchy vibe which I love! It smells great and I always apply it with my hands because I'm unable to use a brush properly (I just suck at it).
I found the dye incredibly easy to rinse out. I've had brands where I'd be rinsing my hair for fifteen minutes before the water came out clear. With Lunar Tides, it took me about three minutes, not to mention that it smelled great. It has conditioner in it (or at least that's what it seems like) which makes my hair feel pretty soft and smooth. The colour came out a lot brighter than I expected (it's brighter than it looks on the photo's) and at first I wasn't sure what to think. However, I now love it!
When my hair gets wet it doesn't bleed, but I do smell the dye which is very pleasant. As long as you don't shampoo your hair the colour remains. When applying shampoo the colour fades a bit, but that's normal for most dyes. I do feel like it fades less quickly than other dyes.
I definitely love this brand. They have a lot of colours to choose from and the dye is just great. I got myself some pink dye as well so after orange I'll be going pink. Ordering from their site when outside the USA is expensive because of the shipping costs. For people living in the Netherlands: Attitude Holland sells the dyes as well. For others: check to see if you can get it from alternative shops or other places where you can buy unnatural hair dyes.
Lately I've been cleaning out my closet to make room for new clothes. Luckily for me, I got sent this cool t-shirt by Storedogdog! So let's review that, shall we?
About the store
I've known this store for about two years now and have personal contact with the owner. The store started because they used to supply for Inu Inu (and the following words are exactly why you shouldn't support them) but Inu Inu scammed them for a lot of money, leaving the owners of Storedogdog with a lot of items they couldn't do anything with. So they decided to start their own store and sell the items for a better price with free shipping. Inu Inu had been selling the same items for super high prices, and when they found out what Storedogdog was doing they tried to shut them down (which is super immature). Also Inu Inu claimed to have original designs but later turned out that only half of those were actual originals. The rest was sold by Storedogdog too so it came from a Chinese supplier.
The owner (and the rest of the team) of Storedogdog is always super helpful and replies as fast as possible. They are willing to reship items free of charge when it gets lost and want to make sure your order arrives safely.
Shipping and packaging
Storedogdog always has free shipping, which is awesome! It's usually pretty quick as well. They ship from China and I believe I got my order in like a week. The longest I had to wait for their package was 2 weeks, the average is about 10 days.
It's always safely packed and I've never ordered any items from them that turned out to be damaged.
I really love stripes and colours so this shirt is something I fell in love with. I had hoped it was a cotton shirt, as I find those a bit nicer to wear in warmer weather, but it turned out to be synthetic, so that's a bit of a bummer. However, it's of good quality and I think I will be wearing it quite a lot.
I really do recommend this store, as it's one of my favourites and I have a really good experience with it. The owner works very hard on it and you can definitely see that pay off. However since this store carries Asian fashion I want to give a warning to always look at the sizes. They are Asian sizes and thus smaller. If you want this shirt, you can buy it here.

I have a lot of coloured lenses in my possession, of almost every colour. But I didn't have black ones yet. So when Klenspop allowed me to try a black pair I got excited. I have reviewed Klenspop many times, so if you want to know about the service and shipping, scroll through the "review" tab of my blog. These lenses are called "Arte Black" by the brand "New Bio". You can check them out here.
When I looked at the lenses on the website I was expecting for them to give me a somewhat scary look. I liked that idea, so I was really surprised when I put them in and looked rather cute. Luckily I like cute too so that was fine with me. The thing is though.. I have blue eyes, and lenses always have a hole in the middle that's large enough for your pupil and a bit of your iris. So when you put black on blue, you'll see the difference. It didn't bother me much, though. But I think these lenses will look better on someone with dark eyes. Despite that, I liked the way the lenses looked on me.
One plus of these lenses is that they didn't hurt me when putting them in, which is rare. Usually lenses irritate my eyes when I put them in and for the first few minutes afterwards, but these didn't. However, they did move around a lot. When I closed my eye to apply eyeshadow, the pressure of the brush made the lens shift, so when I opened my eyes I had to feel the lens shift back in place, which is kind of irritating. These lenses move when you blink and your eyes are dry as well. They don't irritate like regular lenses, they just move a little. So I'm honestly not sure what is more irritable. Either way, I don't recommend wearing them for a full day. For a party or maybe for cosplay it's perfect.
These lenses surprised me in multiple ways, both good and bad. On the plus side, they turned out to be way cuter than I imagined, but on downside, they moved around a lot. I would wear them again for occasions where I'd need black lenses, but I don't think I'll wear them for an entire day again. Would I recommend them? Depends on what you're looking for. Are you looking for black lenses for a party, a cosplay, or just to wear casually? Then yes, I do recommend them, as they are truly black and not somewhat translucent when you wear them. However I do not recommend wearing them a full day and I do think they'd look better on dark eyes. My overall grade is 6.8, which is still very positive!

So yesterday I was at the Spring Festival gala and I got free things to take home, one of which were these self-cooking noodles. I had never heard of them so I decided to try it out on camera. It became more like an awkward comedy, so enjoy.
I have so many lenses in my current collection, in all sorts of colours, except for the colour brown. This is kinda ridiculous, as I think brown eyes are really pretty. So this time I got myself brown colour lenses! They're called "Glam Madonna Brown". Again, thanks to Klenspop for letting me try them! Wanna know what I think? Continue reading..
At first when putting these lenses in I noticed how much of a gap they leave in the middle, making it seem like I have blue eyes with a brown ring. However, when I looked at myself from a distance, they were definitely brown, and the longer I looked at them the more I fell in love. I think these lenses will be especially beautiful if you have green eyes. If you have really light blue eyes I don't know what these will do, but I know that at least from a distance, when you look at yourself in the mirror, they make you eyes seem brown, which is what you're going for after all.
If there is one major bonus point to be given to these lenses, it would be the feel. When I put them in my eyes did not tear up at all, which is very rare. They didn't irritate my eyes the first ten minutes, like many other lenses do, and I didn't feel them until my eyes were getting dry from watching Netflix all day (oops). At the end of the day I did feel them a little but they didn't irritate my eyes, so it was not like it was really bothering me. These lenses are one of the most comfortable lenses I've had so far!
Overall I'm super happy with these lenses! They look great, and they are super comfortable. I think I'm gonna wear them a lot, honestly. The only thing that I don't like that much is the fact that when you're up close you can clearly see where the brown ends and the blue begins, and thus that they are colour lenses. But then again, I don't think anyone is gonna inspect my eyes. So These lenses get a 9/10! If you want to purchase them, click here! And if you want a discount, just use the code that is on the banner on the side of my blog.

The lenses that I'm reviewing today are Brianna's "Exciting Wine" lenses, from Klenspop. i like that the name of these lenses kinda reflect how I feel about them, because I was super excited to get them. And when I got them I was even more excited to wear them and show them to you. Again, I will skip the whole company, contact, shipping, and packaging thing, as I've discussed that many times before in other reviews. So let's get to it, shall we?
These lenses are supposed to be wine red, but in the bottle they looked rather magenta. However, when I put them in they did look like wine red. They're not super vibrant, but they don't go unnoticed either. I do feel like they leave the middle, where your own eye colour comes through, more visible than other lenses. But maybe that's just because of the colour. I kinda wonder what they'd look like on dark eyes, as I have a feeling you won't see them as good on dark eyes. But for me, they work perfectly. I also really love how they look on me and how they work so natural with my overall look. Of course, it's not a natural colour, but I wouldn't mind wearing these casually.
From all the different brands I've got so far, I really like Brianna. Mainly because it takes a good couple hours before my eyes will start to get dry and the lenses will start to get itchy. With most other lenses this takes like an hour (note: they only get itchy, but not uncomfortable), but with Brianna lenses it takes longer. Even when they do get itchy I can still wear them for an entire day. These lenses I wore an entire day without being too bothered by them.
I think these lenses are in my top 5 favourite lenses. I'm unsure at what position, but they're in there. They're just so pretty and wearing them is no problem at all. The only thing I don't really like is that the hole in the lenses is so obvious. This is less with some other lenses I own. Also, since they're comfortable, but not the most comfortable lenses I own, they won't get any bonus points for that. So on a scale of 1 - 10, I'd give these a 7.8! Still impressive, if you ask me.

For those that don't know me that long yet: I do cosplay. Basically cosplay means dressing up as your favourite characters. Today, I'm reviewing CosplaySky, who were kind enough to sponsor me. I've wanted to cosplay Amaimon from Ao No Exorcist for over a year now, so it's thanks to them that I could finally do that!
Let's get to it.
Cosplaysky.ca is a Canadian shop, which specialises in .tailor made costume making, and they have been doing so for more than five years. The cosplays on their side are all made by their more than 30 tailors from China. This means that they ship from China, and you'll get the costume directly from their tailors there. So no middle party involved.
Communication and shipping
CosplaySky offers custom size cosplays, which is very convenient for me, as I'm tall and have a smaller waist and big hips. So all I had to do was give them my measurements, and they would make sure it would be a perfect fit. The communication apart from talking about the measurements went rather smoothly. They replied quickly and were very helpful. However, it seems English isn't their first language, as there were quite some grammar mistakes. But since I deal with a lot of China based companies, I didn't mind. I understood what they meant, and that's the most important thing to me.
After having placed my order, it took about three weeks for them to make the costume and for me to get it. So I think that's rather quick, considering it's a custom made item and considering the fact it had to be shipped from China. So I'm very happy with that.
I chose Amaimon from Ao No Exorcist, as I've been wanting to cosplay him for a long time.
The cosplay arrived in a large package, and was in multiple plastic layers. It was securely packed, so there was no damage whatsoever. It also came with a card that had my measurements on it.
The cosplay consists of a coat, a blouse, a waistcoat, pants, a tie, and a belt. The socks and arm sleeves weren't included, but I knew that from the beginning. So I went ahead and fixed something myself (only to find out later that the socks and arm sleeves aren't matching, but oh well). They were custom made, and they fit perfectly. The only advice that I could give people is to add 2cm to your measurements. Although they fit me perfectly, I would've liked a little extra space, because when I sit down the pants get a little tight. But other than that it's great! The quality is very high too, as the materials are quite thick and just look very neat. So I'm very impressed with that!
I'm very satisfied with this cosplay, and just the way everything was handled. The people of CosplaySky are very nice, the shipping was within my expectations, the sizing was done right and the cosplay looks amazing. So I'd give them a 10/10! I would definitely get a costume from them again.
If you want the Amaimon cosplay, you can click here.
Other awesome cosplays you can check out are: Harley Quinn, Madoka Magica, Fire Emblem Fates, Elsa Coronation dress, and Nico Yawaza. They all look very cool and well made!
