A while ago I was casually scrolling through my instagram feed when I got an ad for a beautiful t-shirt. It was white with little "worms" in all sorts of colours on it. I decided to check out the page the ad came from and instantly fell in love with the clothes I saw. The page belonged to Mokuyobi. So when Black Friday came around I took my chance and ordered two t-shirts from them. Today I got them in the mail, so I'll be doing a short review.
Mokuyobi is a clothing brand based in Los Angeles, USA. They make super rad clothing and accessories with fun prints and designs and honestly? Everything they make is to die for. I'm currently saving up for one of their watches and backpacks. I say saving up, because their items are quite pricey. But I understand that that's because they manufacture everything in the USA and because it's original designs. I don't know about you, but I'm more than willing to pay extra for the unique.
ORDERING, SHIPPING & PACKAGING
I ordered 2 t-shirts: the Noodle Doodle tee and the Jan Casper tee. I wanted to order more but my budget wouldn't allow that, sadly. I am subscribed to Mokuyobi's newsletter and thus I got a 20% discount code as a subscriber, for the pre-sale of Black Friday. Ordering was easy and went smoothly. So then I just had to wait for the package to arrive. Coming from the USA, I knew it would take longer. In the end it took about 3 weeks to arrive. I did have to pay a customs fee, but I usually have to do so when ordering from the USA so I knew that beforehand.
The shirts were packaged in a regular shipping plastic bag, or whatever you'd like to call those. It's those plastic shipping bags clothes always come in. If you ever bought clothes online, you know what I'm talking about. Anyways, when I opened it I saw they included gifts! I was honestly so happy with that. They included stickers, a Mokuyobi enamel pin & one of my fave candy! Also the cards they included with information also looked super nice, so that was definitely a plus.
I ordered both tees in large because I'm tall and I like tees with a loose fit. The material feels nice and gentle. Thin, but not of bad quality. Not at all, actually. The tees feel like they're high quality. The fit is also really nice. The length is perfect (even though I tucked them into my jeans) and so is the amount of bagginess I had hoped for. The colours are super bright (just how I like 'em) and absolutely stunning. Now let's just hope my washing machine won't fuck them up.
I'm very satisfied with my order, from start to finish, and I'm super happy that I found out about this brand. I think their designs are one of a kind and definitely suit my daily style (which is wearing so many colours people's eyes start to burn). I will definitely be buying from them again (I have an entire wishlist by now) and I recommend this brand to all those who want to spice up their wardrobe with some colour.
A while ago I was contacted by a jewellery company called Civion with a sponsor request. They said that they wanted to send me a jewellery piece of my choice if I only paid the shipping. Before I agreed I looked into it because I know this is a known scam, but the site seemed legit, there were people on instagram who tagged the store in a photo of them wearing the jewellery, and there were some positive reviews. So I figured, why not?
Two weeks later I received the choker I had chosen. It was cute, but I immediately recognised that it was cheap quality. The description of the choker did say "lightweight" but that does not equal cheap. I wasn't sure what to do with this because they expected me to make a post about it. I didn't wanna lie about the quality but I also didn't want to get in trouble with the company (because I'm a wuss). But when I found out where they most likely get their item from, I decided it was time to write this post (and make a video).
I typed in "triangle choker" on Aliexpress and I found the exact same choker I received for $0.35. They sell it for about $32. That's an insane amount of profit they make. I then thought "maybe Chinese companies stole their design" because I didn't want to jump to conclusions. But when I found a lot of their items on Aliexpress I became pretty convinced that they do indeed get their items from there. Either that, or their supplier is scamming them. But it's disappointing nonetheless.
If you wanna know the full story + get tips on how to avoid being scammed like that, check out the video below.
It's been a while since I've done a lens review. I haven't really had time for them. But Klenspop was kind enough to send me a stunning pair of coloured lenses: the Mojito Green lenses from the brand Lenspop. So without further ado, let's get into them!
I'm not going to discuss the packing, shipping and communication because it always remains the same (I've done a lot of Klenspop reviews in the past). So let's get right to the lenses. When I got them, my first thought was "wow, these are super light! Are they even gonna show on my eyes?". The answer is: yes. They do show. Very well.
The colour on my eyes is absolutely stunning and it looks pretty natural. Like I have very intense green eyes, which I love. I can definitely see myself wearing these casually.
The first thing I noticed about these lenses was that when I put them in, they immediately felt comfortable. Often the first ten minutes of wearing coloured lenses are quite uncomfortable due to my eyes having to adjust and the lenses kind of itching. But with these I didn't have that at all! They felt very nice.
After wearing them for a day I found that they remained pretty comfortable but that, just like with many other lenses, my eyes would get pretty dry and the lenses would start to itch a little bit. However it's more comfortable than many other lenses I have.
I would give these lenses a 9/10 because they look amazing and are quite comfortable. I'm not sure how they would look on someone with brown eyes, since they're pretty light. My guess is that it would give a green glow. These lenses are great for casual wear but could also be worn for cosplay. I will definitely wear these more often!

It's been a while since I last dyed my hair. After having had my hair blue around this time last year, I decided to let it grow so it could get healthy again. A couple weeks ago I deemed it healthy, and thus I bleached and dyed my hair again. I used a brand I haven't used before: Lunar Tides. I decided I might as well review it!
Lunar Tides is a brand that sells 32 different shades of hairdye. They made this many shades so you can easily find the colour you're after without having to blend different dyes or using diluters. Their dyes are 100% cruelty free and they are vegan.
I chose the colour Solar Flare, which is orange. I've never had orange hair and I figured I might as well give it a try. I first bleached my hair with Manic Panic's vol 40 bleach kit. After that I applied the dye. The dyes come in a jar of 4 oz, and for me that means I can use it twice. The packaging looks very cool. It has a witchy vibe which I love! It smells great and I always apply it with my hands because I'm unable to use a brush properly (I just suck at it).
I found the dye incredibly easy to rinse out. I've had brands where I'd be rinsing my hair for fifteen minutes before the water came out clear. With Lunar Tides, it took me about three minutes, not to mention that it smelled great. It has conditioner in it (or at least that's what it seems like) which makes my hair feel pretty soft and smooth. The colour came out a lot brighter than I expected (it's brighter than it looks on the photo's) and at first I wasn't sure what to think. However, I now love it!
When my hair gets wet it doesn't bleed, but I do smell the dye which is very pleasant. As long as you don't shampoo your hair the colour remains. When applying shampoo the colour fades a bit, but that's normal for most dyes. I do feel like it fades less quickly than other dyes.
I definitely love this brand. They have a lot of colours to choose from and the dye is just great. I got myself some pink dye as well so after orange I'll be going pink. Ordering from their site when outside the USA is expensive because of the shipping costs. For people living in the Netherlands: Attitude Holland sells the dyes as well. For others: check to see if you can get it from alternative shops or other places where you can buy unnatural hair dyes.
Lately I've been cleaning out my closet to make room for new clothes. Luckily for me, I got sent this cool t-shirt by Storedogdog! So let's review that, shall we?
About the store
I've known this store for about two years now and have personal contact with the owner. The store started because they used to supply for Inu Inu (and the following words are exactly why you shouldn't support them) but Inu Inu scammed them for a lot of money, leaving the owners of Storedogdog with a lot of items they couldn't do anything with. So they decided to start their own store and sell the items for a better price with free shipping. Inu Inu had been selling the same items for super high prices, and when they found out what Storedogdog was doing they tried to shut them down (which is super immature). Also Inu Inu claimed to have original designs but later turned out that only half of those were actual originals. The rest was sold by Storedogdog too so it came from a Chinese supplier.
The owner (and the rest of the team) of Storedogdog is always super helpful and replies as fast as possible. They are willing to reship items free of charge when it gets lost and want to make sure your order arrives safely.
Shipping and packaging
Storedogdog always has free shipping, which is awesome! It's usually pretty quick as well. They ship from China and I believe I got my order in like a week. The longest I had to wait for their package was 2 weeks, the average is about 10 days.
It's always safely packed and I've never ordered any items from them that turned out to be damaged.
I really love stripes and colours so this shirt is something I fell in love with. I had hoped it was a cotton shirt, as I find those a bit nicer to wear in warmer weather, but it turned out to be synthetic, so that's a bit of a bummer. However, it's of good quality and I think I will be wearing it quite a lot.
I really do recommend this store, as it's one of my favourites and I have a really good experience with it. The owner works very hard on it and you can definitely see that pay off. However since this store carries Asian fashion I want to give a warning to always look at the sizes. They are Asian sizes and thus smaller. If you want this shirt, you can buy it here.

I have a lot of coloured lenses in my possession, of almost every colour. But I didn't have black ones yet. So when Klenspop allowed me to try a black pair I got excited. I have reviewed Klenspop many times, so if you want to know about the service and shipping, scroll through the "review" tab of my blog. These lenses are called "Arte Black" by the brand "New Bio". You can check them out here.
When I looked at the lenses on the website I was expecting for them to give me a somewhat scary look. I liked that idea, so I was really surprised when I put them in and looked rather cute. Luckily I like cute too so that was fine with me. The thing is though.. I have blue eyes, and lenses always have a hole in the middle that's large enough for your pupil and a bit of your iris. So when you put black on blue, you'll see the difference. It didn't bother me much, though. But I think these lenses will look better on someone with dark eyes. Despite that, I liked the way the lenses looked on me.
One plus of these lenses is that they didn't hurt me when putting them in, which is rare. Usually lenses irritate my eyes when I put them in and for the first few minutes afterwards, but these didn't. However, they did move around a lot. When I closed my eye to apply eyeshadow, the pressure of the brush made the lens shift, so when I opened my eyes I had to feel the lens shift back in place, which is kind of irritating. These lenses move when you blink and your eyes are dry as well. They don't irritate like regular lenses, they just move a little. So I'm honestly not sure what is more irritable. Either way, I don't recommend wearing them for a full day. For a party or maybe for cosplay it's perfect.
These lenses surprised me in multiple ways, both good and bad. On the plus side, they turned out to be way cuter than I imagined, but on downside, they moved around a lot. I would wear them again for occasions where I'd need black lenses, but I don't think I'll wear them for an entire day again. Would I recommend them? Depends on what you're looking for. Are you looking for black lenses for a party, a cosplay, or just to wear casually? Then yes, I do recommend them, as they are truly black and not somewhat translucent when you wear them. However I do not recommend wearing them a full day and I do think they'd look better on dark eyes. My overall grade is 6.8, which is still very positive!

So yesterday I was at the Spring Festival gala and I got free things to take home, one of which were these self-cooking noodles. I had never heard of them so I decided to try it out on camera. It became more like an awkward comedy, so enjoy.
I have so many lenses in my current collection, in all sorts of colours, except for the colour brown. This is kinda ridiculous, as I think brown eyes are really pretty. So this time I got myself brown colour lenses! They're called "Glam Madonna Brown". Again, thanks to Klenspop for letting me try them! Wanna know what I think? Continue reading..
At first when putting these lenses in I noticed how much of a gap they leave in the middle, making it seem like I have blue eyes with a brown ring. However, when I looked at myself from a distance, they were definitely brown, and the longer I looked at them the more I fell in love. I think these lenses will be especially beautiful if you have green eyes. If you have really light blue eyes I don't know what these will do, but I know that at least from a distance, when you look at yourself in the mirror, they make you eyes seem brown, which is what you're going for after all.
If there is one major bonus point to be given to these lenses, it would be the feel. When I put them in my eyes did not tear up at all, which is very rare. They didn't irritate my eyes the first ten minutes, like many other lenses do, and I didn't feel them until my eyes were getting dry from watching Netflix all day (oops). At the end of the day I did feel them a little but they didn't irritate my eyes, so it was not like it was really bothering me. These lenses are one of the most comfortable lenses I've had so far!
Overall I'm super happy with these lenses! They look great, and they are super comfortable. I think I'm gonna wear them a lot, honestly. The only thing that I don't like that much is the fact that when you're up close you can clearly see where the brown ends and the blue begins, and thus that they are colour lenses. But then again, I don't think anyone is gonna inspect my eyes. So These lenses get a 9/10! If you want to purchase them, click here! And if you want a discount, just use the code that is on the banner on the side of my blog.

The lenses that I'm reviewing today are Brianna's "Exciting Wine" lenses, from Klenspop. i like that the name of these lenses kinda reflect how I feel about them, because I was super excited to get them. And when I got them I was even more excited to wear them and show them to you. Again, I will skip the whole company, contact, shipping, and packaging thing, as I've discussed that many times before in other reviews. So let's get to it, shall we?
These lenses are supposed to be wine red, but in the bottle they looked rather magenta. However, when I put them in they did look like wine red. They're not super vibrant, but they don't go unnoticed either. I do feel like they leave the middle, where your own eye colour comes through, more visible than other lenses. But maybe that's just because of the colour. I kinda wonder what they'd look like on dark eyes, as I have a feeling you won't see them as good on dark eyes. But for me, they work perfectly. I also really love how they look on me and how they work so natural with my overall look. Of course, it's not a natural colour, but I wouldn't mind wearing these casually.
From all the different brands I've got so far, I really like Brianna. Mainly because it takes a good couple hours before my eyes will start to get dry and the lenses will start to get itchy. With most other lenses this takes like an hour (note: they only get itchy, but not uncomfortable), but with Brianna lenses it takes longer. Even when they do get itchy I can still wear them for an entire day. These lenses I wore an entire day without being too bothered by them.
I think these lenses are in my top 5 favourite lenses. I'm unsure at what position, but they're in there. They're just so pretty and wearing them is no problem at all. The only thing I don't really like is that the hole in the lenses is so obvious. This is less with some other lenses I own. Also, since they're comfortable, but not the most comfortable lenses I own, they won't get any bonus points for that. So on a scale of 1 - 10, I'd give these a 7.8! Still impressive, if you ask me.

For those that don't know me that long yet: I do cosplay. Basically cosplay means dressing up as your favourite characters. Today, I'm reviewing CosplaySky, who were kind enough to sponsor me. I've wanted to cosplay Amaimon from Ao No Exorcist for over a year now, so it's thanks to them that I could finally do that!
Let's get to it.
Cosplaysky.ca is a Canadian shop, which specialises in .tailor made costume making, and they have been doing so for more than five years. The cosplays on their side are all made by their more than 30 tailors from China. This means that they ship from China, and you'll get the costume directly from their tailors there. So no middle party involved.
Communication and shipping
CosplaySky offers custom size cosplays, which is very convenient for me, as I'm tall and have a smaller waist and big hips. So all I had to do was give them my measurements, and they would make sure it would be a perfect fit. The communication apart from talking about the measurements went rather smoothly. They replied quickly and were very helpful. However, it seems English isn't their first language, as there were quite some grammar mistakes. But since I deal with a lot of China based companies, I didn't mind. I understood what they meant, and that's the most important thing to me.
After having placed my order, it took about three weeks for them to make the costume and for me to get it. So I think that's rather quick, considering it's a custom made item and considering the fact it had to be shipped from China. So I'm very happy with that.
I chose Amaimon from Ao No Exorcist, as I've been wanting to cosplay him for a long time.
The cosplay arrived in a large package, and was in multiple plastic layers. It was securely packed, so there was no damage whatsoever. It also came with a card that had my measurements on it.
The cosplay consists of a coat, a blouse, a waistcoat, pants, a tie, and a belt. The socks and arm sleeves weren't included, but I knew that from the beginning. So I went ahead and fixed something myself (only to find out later that the socks and arm sleeves aren't matching, but oh well). They were custom made, and they fit perfectly. The only advice that I could give people is to add 2cm to your measurements. Although they fit me perfectly, I would've liked a little extra space, because when I sit down the pants get a little tight. But other than that it's great! The quality is very high too, as the materials are quite thick and just look very neat. So I'm very impressed with that!
I'm very satisfied with this cosplay, and just the way everything was handled. The people of CosplaySky are very nice, the shipping was within my expectations, the sizing was done right and the cosplay looks amazing. So I'd give them a 10/10! I would definitely get a costume from them again.
If you want the Amaimon cosplay, you can click here.
Other awesome cosplays you can check out are: Harley Quinn, Madoka Magica, Fire Emblem Fates, Elsa Coronation dress, and Nico Yawaza. They all look very cool and well made!

Again I've been blessed by the amazing people of Klenspop, and I got to review a couple of lenses that I've been wanting for a while now. I'm really glad they are giving me this opportunity once again. And because I've reviewed them so often, I'm gonna skip the part about shipping and the company, and get right to the part about the lenses.
The lenses came with a free lens case again, and it was all neatly packed. The lenses looked pretty solid, and I was unsure if my own eye colour would shine through because they're white. Luckily they covered my eyes pretty well. Of course I don't know if this is also the case when you have brown eyes, as mine are blue and therefore still pretty light.
I managed to get them in pretty quickly and without any irritation, which is rare. They were rather comfortable as well, though they did dry my eyes a little after a while, making me blink more often to keep my eyes wet. But some of my other lenses do that too, so it was nothing new. I think they were pretty comfortable as far as colour lenses go. And I could easily wear them for an entire day. Though I do wonder if they're still gonna be comfortable if you wear them daily, but I don't think these lenses were destined for that, judging from the fact they're not supposed to look natural.
I really love these lenses, and I'm actually considering wearing them with regular outfits too, since I felt like they blended in really well with my overall look at that moment. I didn't feel like they were super outstanding and unusual, but they weren't ordinary either. I think that with the right make-up it could work with a normal daytime look.
Overall I'm really happy with these lenses and I would definitely recommend them. I'm gonna change the 1-5 scale into a 1-10 scale for more accuracy, and give these lenses an 8.5! If you want to buy them too, you can click here.

Those who know me know that I love Asian products, and beauty products are no exception. South-Korea is known to be an innovator when it comes to skincare (BB cream was invented there), and I absolutely love Korean skincare products. I usually buy mine in shops who are in the Netherlands, but I wanted to try and order from BeautyNetKorea because they offer way more products, and often cheaper. So that's what I did, and that's what I'm gonna talk about in this review.
I found it fairly easy to find the products I was looking for. I love Etude House, as they are a brand I know for certain is cruelty free (except they sell in China, but I have yet to find a Korean brand that doesn't). On the site you can search for brands, so that's what I did. The product descriptions are in English, though a bit broken, but it's understandable. I got the information I needed.
The prices are displayed in both the Korean currency and USD. You can choose to pay with credit card or paypal. When I went to order there was a sale going on, so i ended up paying less. There are a few different shipping options, and I found it quite reasonable and affordable. I think I ended up paying around $40 shipping included.
I wanted to sign up for an account, but it kept giving errors so I gave up and ordered as a guest. From what I can tell, with my little bit of HTML knowledge, the site isn't that complicated, which leaves room for errors. But it usually functions normally.
After ordering I got an email with the receipt, and a few days later I got a notification that it was shipped.
Shipping & Packaging
The package arrived quicker than expected. The site says that the shipping period is 15 - 40 days, but I received mine after 13 days I believe. So that's definitely a plus.
Everything was packed neatly and safely in bubblewrap. It came with some cards and a free small bottle of something I believe to be some kind of hair conditioning.
I'll quickly discuss all the products I bought and got to give an idea of what they're like.
Etude House sheet masks
I personally love sheet masks, as they're very easy to use. The sheet masks I ordered I've used before, and I'm always very pleased about them. I usually use them before I go to bed, and when I get up in the morning I rinse my face with water, which then results in a very soft smooth skin.
These are the masks I got.
The one I hadn't used before was the AC clean up mask. AC clean up is a line of products from Etude House that focuses on acne issues. I also have their toner, but because I forget to use it often I haven't seen the effects yet.
The AC clean up sheet mask is rather thick, which made me less afraid of ripping it. It also smelled fresh and just nice. I believe that one sheet mask isn't going to solve your acne problem, so it didn't do that. But what it did do was calm my skin a little. I think this product is meant to be used twice a week within a skincare routine with the other products.
If you're interested, you can check out the AC clean up sheet mask here.
Etude House "Missing U" hand cream
This hand cream doesn't only look cute, it smells nice and made my hands very soft.. It smells fresh, and is not too thick and not too thin. It gets absorbed quickly by the skin, and doesn't feel sticky.
The box it comes in is made of recycled paper and contains information about the animal on the box. There are four different animals to choose from and they're all endangered, so on the box is a little bit of information which tells you to save these animals. I thought it was a good idea!
You can check it out here.
Etude House "Moistfull collagen" emulsion & essence
I was really looking for a moisturiser and an essence to complete my collection for my skincare routine with. I want to try the Korean skin care routine (which has 10 steps) and I was missing these two products, so when I found them for a really good price I was quite happy!
The essence smells nice and is very light. It's watery, which I find nice, and a little sticky after applying, but I didn't find that bothersome at all.
The emulsion also smells nice and is slightly thicker than the essence, but still light. It's also a bit watery and a little sticky, but both are not bothersome.
When I rinsed my face the morning after applying these two my skin was super soft! And it just felt fresh and nice. You can check out the emulsion here and the essence here.
EyeNLip hair ampoule "LULU"
I got this for free, and at first I was unsure what it exactly was. There was a tiny bit of info on the bottle, but it wasn't very clear. But I decided to just give it a try.
It smells a bit like dish soap in my opinion, but it wasn't unpleasant or anything. I massaged it into my hair, and after rinsing it out my hair felt rather soft. Not as soft as with my regular conditioner, but I found out later that this ampule is more focused on strengthening your hair and protecting it than smoothing it.
The next morning my hair felt soft, but also more firm, and it was easy to brush.
If you're interested, you can find the ampule here.
I'm very satisfied with this purchase and I would definitely order from this shop again. Etude House is a very nice brand which I like to use, and having more of their products in my collection makes me happy.
If you're looking for affordable (Korean) skincare products, I definitely recommend ordering from here!
Once again I've been very lucky to have been granted the opportunity to review lenses for Klenspop! This time I got to review the lenses called Kirei Green. I figured these would be nice for one of the cosplays I have planned, so I tried them out! Here's what I thought.
Packaging, shipping & communication
As always, these three things were perfect in my opinion. It was perfectly packed, very safe in a bubble envelope. The lenses and the things it came with were in a pretty box, which design I hadn't seen before.
The shipping was rather fast too, keeping the average of around 13 days. Communication was again rather fast and clear, so I'm really happy with that still!
The lenses: colour
When I looked at the lenses while they were still in the tiny jar I found them really pretty! Though I wondered how bright they would actually be when wearing them. Because when you're not wearing them they look rather light, but when you're actually wearing them they're a lot darker. Also they're green lenses, but in my opinion they're actually more blue. I chose them because I needed green/blue lenses, but if you're looking for green lenses these are not the one you need. I do like the colour when wearing them though, even if they are darker than they originally look. Personally I like lenses that are a little more natural. So for me, the colour was great.
The lenses: comfort
I wore the lenses for an entire day, and I have to say, they're not that itchy. As usual, getting them in was a slight struggle. Not because I can't put lenses in my eyes, but because with the right eye I put it in without any trouble, and with the left eye it took me five tries because every time I either put it in wrong or it started to hurt immediately after. I don't know why my eyes are so weird, but it makes it a little difficult to judge the lenses' comfort when putting them in. I'm guessing it just depends on the person. However, the wearing comfort during the day was quite alright. They didn't move much, and it wasn't until the end of the day where I felt the need to take them out. It didn't hurt, but it just irritated my eyes a little. But I have that with most lenses, so I'm guessing it's just normal.
When I look at all the points I mentioned I think I can say I'm quite satisfied with these lenses. They're the colour I was looking for, they're not uncomfortable to wear, the shipping and handling was good, and everything else was just great. With half a point subtracted for the fact that they're not the most comfortable lenses I've ever worn, I'm giving these 4.5/5. You can buy Klenspop Kirei Green here, and you can use the discount code at the side of my blog for 10% off!
*Disclaimer: this post is sponsored, but my opinions are 100% honest.
Once again Klenspop was kind enough to send me lenses to review! I really love this company, because they are super kind and I love reviewing for them. This time I got to review the Brianna Charming Pink lenses! I didn't have pink lenses yet so I was super excited to receive them! So without further ado, let's begin!
Communication, shipping & packaging
As usual, communication with this company was very pleasant and they reply rather fast. The shipping was again quite fast, considering where it came from. So kudos for that. They send it in an orange bubble envelope, and every time I see it in my mailbox I instantly recognise it and get excited to open it!
Once again the lenses where in this pretty cardboard box, which also contained a lens case and tweezers (I still don't know what they're used for but I have four of them now). The lens bottles were quite pretty too!
The lenses look & feel
When putting the lenses in my very first reaction (which I voiced) was: "Oh wow, I don't feel them at all. I'm not even tearing up". They are super comfortable! Even after wearing them for a few hours I barely feel them, only occasionally when I blink. I have one other pair of lenses that are like this, and I really love wearing lenses that I don't feel all the time. I think it's probably because this brand is different from the other three. The others were from Ellen, these are from Brianna. So I definitely recommend this brand.
The colour isn't spectacular, but that gives them a somewhat more natural look. I had kinda hoped for them to be a bit more vibrant, but the longer I looked at myself wearing these lenses the more I figured that maybe brighter lenses wouldn't have looked as pretty, as they are way more unnatural. They almost look a bit grey, even. But that's probably because they're a lighter colour than my own eye colour so they blend with my own colour.
I also really love lenses that are this size. They make me look and feel so cute! I definitely prefer them over the smaller lenses.
Once again I'm very satisfied with these lenses and the company that gave them to me! I really love wearing lenses and lenses like these just really add to outfits I'm wearing. These lenses in particular are very comfortable to wear so I can easily wear them all day and since they are big I might use them for cosplay too!
I think I'll give these a 5/5 rating, as I'm just super happy with them! I definitely recommend getting the Brianna brand. You can buy the lenses by clicking here!

I do a lot of online shopping, but if there's one store where I'm a repeat customer it's Happy Monday. In a review from 2 years ago I already told something about the company, so today I'm just gonna review what they send me. Because I've been a fan for over two years and I was very honoured when they asked me to promote something for them. So without further ado, let's start.
Shipping & Communication
I communicated with Happy Monday through instagram DMs, and because of that the communication went slow. They get hundreds of DMs every day, so I understand that they can't answer right away. It was a little unclear whether they had sent my package or not, but I knew I could trust them. They send me a random shirt, so it was a surprise too! The shipping usually takes 1 - 2 weeks for me, as they ship from Thailand. But this time they sent it without track & trace (which is cheaper, as they sent it for free) so it took 4 weeks. I didn't mind that much though. I can't really say how long it usually takes, as it's different for each country. But for me, when I order through their site and get a package with track & trace, it usually gets here quite quick.
The package & quality
It was sent in a regular plastic grey bag, as most clothes from Asian countries get sent in. So there was not problem with that. The shirt was in an extra transparent bag too, for protection. The quality of the shirt is simply amazing! It's super soft and and a little thick, which makes it strong. It's incredibly nice to wear. I asked for a size L, although I am a size M, but that's because some shirts tend to be a bit short on me so I just wanna be sure it fits. And I love oversizes shirts a lot. It fits very nicely, and for me it's a little oversized, but not too much. It's an Asian size L, after all.
As I said, I didn't know what I was gonna get, so it was a total surprise. But I'm super happy with this one! The text on it says "Happy Monday", and I really like the artwork on it. I'm a sucker for clothing with Japanese text on it, to be honest. So I think I'm gonna wear this shirt quite a lot!
All I can say about this is that I'm very very happy with this. I absolutely adore this store and this shirt, and I really appreciate all the hard work the staff puts into pleasing their customers. So I can't help but to give this a 5/5. If you wanna become their customer too, you can buy from them by clicking here.

A while ago I got the opportunity to review Rolecosplay. As some of you may know, I'm a cosplayer, so this collaboration was very exciting to me! I got to review a Yato (from Noragami) cosplay, which was on my wishlist. If you don't feel like reading it, you can scroll to the bottom of this post to watch the unboxing video.
Rolecosplay is a company in China that manufactures and sells costumes and wigs. The prices are average to cheap. The contact I had with Rolecosplay was very good. Responses varied between being quick and slow. Sometimes only an hour passed, sometimes a few days. Of course there is also time difference which influences the response speed. They were very helpful, though! So communication with them was good.
Shipping & packaging
The shipping was estimated to take 2-3 weeks. But it took about 5 weeks. However, this is not to blame on Rolecosplay. Around the time the package was sent it was close to Christmas, and thus China post had an overload of packages. And because of that overload there were massive delays. Not only got this package delayed, but also 3 of my other packages from other companies were delayed. Because of this I know it was China post's fault, and was Rolecosplay not to blame. This does mean that I cannot review the shipping time properly. The packaging was good. It was packaged like most cosplays I've ordered were packaged. I liked that they had a customised package!
When I unpacked the cosplay I was really happy! It looked super good. Apart from the crown on the jacket that was done a little bit messily I really loved the quality. However, someone pointed out to me that the colour blue in the costume isn't accurate with the anime. I didn't even notice that at first, but it's true. It doesn't bother me, though.
The cosplay is super comfortable and fits perfectly! The sleeves are slightly short on me, but being a tall person I'm used to that. Other than that it's perfect. The fabric is smooth and comfortable and I feel very confident in this cosplay. Now I just need to perfect my make-up and it'll be even more perfect! If you want to see a full view of the cosplay you can watch the unboxing video below!
Overall I'm quite happy with this cosplay and company. I recommend buying from them, and my rating is as follows: 4/5 for communication, 4/5 for quality of the cosplay, and 2.5/5 for shipping. Giving them a 3.5/5 total. Despite the shipping delay being out of their control, it's my first impression of them. However they did ship it out rather quickly after I paid so that's why they got a 2.5/5. But if I order from them again and the shipping is faster the rating will definitely go up!

Once again Klenspop was kind enough to send me another pair of lenses to review. This time it's the Ellen 3Color Green lenses! It's a beautiful addition to my growing lens collection.
The company & shipping
Once again the communication with Klenspop went very well! And this time the shipping was super fast! Only 10 days, which is much faster than before. So I was super surprised, but happy when I saw it in my mailbox so early.
Again the lenses came in a cute box, and I'm loving all these different designs I keep getting! I might start collecting them! Also I'm still super happy that they send a free lens case each time. I think that's good service on their part.
I'm gonna be honest.. when I saw the lenses in the bottles I wasn't too impressed. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. However, once I put them in I changed my mind!
From all the lenses i received from Klenspop so far these are my favourite! They are so beautiful and really make my eyes pop. They're also a little bit more comfortable than the others. I still feel them sometimes, but they are easier to put in my eyes and it takes longer for them to start irritate my eyes. With the others that was after, give or take, six hours. With these it took around eight hours before my eyes began to get dry and the lenses started to feel uncomfortable. But that makes them perfect for wearing to special occasions, school, or for modelling and cosplay.
I really love the colour of these. They actually make my eyes look so natural! That might also be because I have a bit of green in my eyes, on the spot where the hole in the lenses are. This makes the lenses blend with my eyes perfectly. They look vibrant, but natural. As if you just have really green eyes, and I love that!
I'm super happy with these lenses! I'm in love with how they make my eyes look. While wearing them I kept looking in the mirror because I found them so pretty. I'm lucky they blend in with my eye colour, because that makes them look so natural. I'm gonna give these a 5 out of 5! I rarely do that, but I'm just very happy with them. If I'm gonna be really critical I'd give them a 4.5 because you can't wear them for too long, but personally I don't wear natural looking lenses for an entire day, so it doesn't bother me. So for me it's a 5!

Klenspop was kind enough to send me another pair of lenses to review! This time it's the Bunny 3 colour violet lenses. So today I'll review them for you!
The company & shipping
I've talked about this company in a previous blogpost, and I'm very happy with them! They respond really quickly to my messages and are very kind. Just like the last time the shipping didn't take too long. Or well.. considering that it had to come from Asia. So overall I've got a very good experience with this company.
Again the lenses came in a cool box (which was safe in a bubble envelope) and it had a different design this time, which i think is cool! It came with a free pair of tweezers and a free lenscase again! I still haven't really found the correct use of the tweezers, but just like most Dutch people I love free stuff, so it's all good.
When I saw the lenses I thought they looked so pretty! I've been wanting purple lenses for quite a while now, so I'm glad I could finally get my hands on them! Though judging from the look of them they won't be very vibrant, but that's because they're supposed to look more natural. I'm always torn between wanting them to be vibrant and wanting them to be natural. It's difficult to find lenses that are both those things.
When putting them in I noticed just how comfortable they are! My eyes didn't water at all, except for my left eye but that was because I put it in inside out, which always causes my eyes to get irritated. But once I got it in the right way there was not watering. I did however get slightly dry eyes after a while, but I have that quite often with lenses. So far I've only had one pair of lenses where that wasn't the case.
As expected the lenses werent vibrant at all, but a lot more natural. These photo's don't exactly do them justice, though. In real life they are slightly more purple. But it's certainly not bad! I like the idea of wearing coloured lenses like purple without people noticing that you're wearing them unless they look closely. I always feel like I'm undercover that way. And it helps me on days where I want to add a personal touch to a regular look without it being super obvious.
Once again I'm very satisfied with the company and the lenses. However I did expect them to be slightly more purple than they did, so I'm gonna chip half a point away from the end total, which is 4 out of 5. So it's still very good!

Last week I received my lenses from klenspop, who were kind enough to send me lenses to review. I was super happy when I received the lenses, and could not wait to wear them and review them for you. So without further ado, let's discuss them!
Klenspop is a big company from Korea, and is there one of the leading companies on the market. They ship worldwide, and offer a lot of great and beautiful lenses!
Contact & Shipping
The contact with the company was great! They were really helpful and kind, and responded rather quickly to my emails They have a 45 days shipping guarantee, and I must say that the lenses arrived sooner than expected! It only took 11 business days, which is really quick in comparison to other items that I order from Asia. So that's definitely a plus!
Everything was packaged securely in a bubble envelope, and inside was a pretty box in which everything was packed. The lenses came with a free lens case which I really appreciate! And it came with tweezers. I've never really used these kind of tweezers for lenses before, and I wasn't sure what to do with it as I didn't really want it near my eyes, but it surely was handy for getting the lenses out of the bottles. The bottles had a cute panda on them, which I really liked!
The lenses are the Ellen 3 Color Gray, and they are 14mm, which is slightly bigger than a regular iris. When putting them in at first I had tears running down my cheeks for ten minutes, but that's something that usually happens to me when putting in new lenses. I don't know if it's a thing more people have, but it happens. But after that the lenses were very comfortable! I didn't feel them at all anymore. Though after a few hours I did start to feel them, but that could easily be solved by blinking a few times in a row. My own eyes are blue grey, so when wearing the lenses I didn't see that much of a difference in colour. At least not when wearing both of the lenses. But they looked super natural, and gave my eyes a certain vibrance somehow. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I really liked it! They just blend in really well with my own eye colour and I love that I'm now able to slightly alter my eye colour without it being super noticeable.
I'm really happy with everything, actually! The contact was great, the shipping was fast, and the lenses are really nice! I normally prefer larger lenses, but these lenses really changed my mind about needing bigger lenses to make my eyes look different. These lenses prove that you don't need something super bright and big to get prettier eyes. The only thing that was a little meh was the wearing comfort in the beginning and the end of the day. But as a frequent lens wearer I know that it's rare to find lenses that are comfortable the whole day. So these lenses and the company get 4.5 out of 5 stars from me.

As some of you may know, I am a cosplayer. And besides the costumes and wigs cosplayers also need lenses to get all the details right. But coloured (circle) lenses can be quite expensive, and it can be hard to decide where to buy them. But luckily I found a good site, and I'm going to share it with you through a review!
I think that one of the biggest sites for buying (circle) lenses is Uniqso. You can also buy wigs and costumes there, but it's mostly known for their lenses. They are based in Malaysia, and have been around since 2010.
Buying & Shipping
The lenses I bought are the "Barbie Angel Blue" circle lenses. They're 16.2mm and are good for 12 months. They were $16.90, and after adding shipping costs and a discount code the total was $19.65, which is actually quite cheap!
I ordered them on the 17th of September, and they were shipped on the 19th. I received them on the 5th of October. Some people might find that a long time, but since I order from Asian countries a lot, I don't really mind the wait. If I look at all my past orders from Asian countries, the shipping time perfectly fits the average time it takes to get here.
This wasn't the first time I've ordered lenses from Uniqso, so I knew what to expect. Just like the last time the lenses were securely packed and seemed to be in perfect condition. Though somehow I always have trouble opening the small bottles.. But then again, I always struggle to open things. They also came with a free lens case!
Getting the lenses in wasn't a problem at all for me, as I used to have prescription lenses before I had glasses. If you don't know how to put them in, you can find lots of tutorials on youtube! At first the lenses irritated my eyes a bit, but I always have that when I put in new lenses. I wore them the whole day, and sometimes I would feel them again. It made me a little worried, because I never had that problem with the other lenses. But when I wore them the second day I didn't feel them at all! It was such a relief, because they were super comfortable and looked so cute! Occasionally I'll feel them again, but that's mostly when my eyes are getting a little dry. So then I either blink a lot, or close my eyes for a few seconds, and problem solved!
They really make my eyes pop, but they are a little darker than I expected. When there's no natural / white light around they almost look black. So that's a downside, but other than that I absolutely love them!
I absolutely love Uniqso, and the lenses I bought from them are just great. I think I would give the shop 4.5 out of 5 stars, and the lenses 4 out of 5. I'm super happy with them, apart from the dark colour. If you want to buy lenses please visit your optician first, as not every lens is suitable for your eyes (for example, you need lenses with the right base curve). Be careful with your eyes, you only have one pair of them!
You can buy from Uniqso by clicking here. Use the code "planet" for 10% off your order!
I've had glasses for about 1.5 years now, but I never had prescription sunglasses. Before I got glasses I had lenses, so could wear normal sunglasses. And I can still see without glasses on, so prescription sunglasses were always a thing I could buy later. That was mostly because they are quite expensive. But then I found out about Polette..
Polette is a store that sells both regular and prescription (sun)glasses. They're really cheap compared to other stores, because (according to their website) they are the only intermediate between the factory and the costumer. They offer a lot of different kinds of glasses, and you can fill in your prescription when you order. The prices start €6.99, and go up to about €40. That's just the glasses, if you want them to be prescription glasses it will be more expensive, but still cheaper than what you would normally pay.
So after doing my research I decided I wanted to give it a shot. I chose the sunglasses called "Beverly Hills". They are quite large and pink, which is something I'd normally never choose. But these just looked really cute! Because it's a webshop, you can't try the glasses on first, so it's just a guess if they would look nice on you. They do have a webcam feature where you can try the glasses on, but it's not realistic enough for me. There is a physical store in Amsterdam, but I didn't feel like travelling two hours just for that.
When adding the sunglasses to your basket you can choose from Fashion lenses, which means there are no extra costs, Single vision glasses, which are the regular prescription glasses, and Progressive lenses. Progressive lenses are starting from €39.99, and the Single vision, which I chose, are starting from €19.99. I believe that when you order regular glasses you'll have two more options (which are also more expensive) but I'm not sure what those are.
Then you'll get more options, and that's where the prices start to differ. Basically, the worse your eyes are, the more you'll have to pay. I only have a small deviation so I could chose the "Eco" option, which is the cheapest and is €19.99. This option is for prescriptions ranging from -2 to +2. Then comes business, which is €26.99 (-3 to +3), then First, which is €39.99 (-5 to +5) and last is Prestige. This one is €99.99, but also goes from -5 to +5. The only difference I can spot between the two is that First has RX1,67 and Prestige is RX1,74. I don't know what this means, but I suppose that people who need those kind of glasses do know. After that you can fill in all the details about your prescription.
My total was €36.98 shipping included, but because there was a 50% off sale going on, I ended up only paying €24.48. Try to get sunglasses for that price at your optician.
I ordered on July 9th. I knew that it would take a while for the glasses to get here, as they are shipped from China. I've ordered from China many times before, so I've grown very patient when it comes to these things. I received the glasses on July 28th, which is 19 days later. If you look at the business days it's 14 days, which is within the 5 - 15 business days range on the (Dutch) website.
It came in a nice and firm little box, and was in a little pouch. It also came with a special wipe for the glasses. Overall it looked very neat.
When I tried them on I instantly fell in love. They are just perfect. They're different from what I usually wear, but I really like the change. Also I could see clearly through them, which is of course the most important thing. I was a little worried about that because after I ordered I thought I made a mistake. But it all turned out perfectly! They're really firm and I like how high quality they are. Who says that things from China are crappy? I'll prove them otherwise!
Overall I'm very happy to have found this site. They offer so many cool glasses and their prices are just amazing. You'll have to be patient for the shipping, but the wait is totally worth it. I'll definitely order again, because I would like to have different pairs of glasses!
Soo... it's been a while, hasn't it? I know, I know.. I told myself to post at least every week. But I have a good excuse! Aside from being lazy, that is.. But I've been quite busy with school, as it's the last (and most important) quartile of the year so it needs my attention. I've also been applying for internships, and I'm happy to tell you that I got hired by the company of my choice! I'm very excited to start my internship after the summer and I hope to learn a lot from it.
Another thing that I've been busy with is cosplay, as I want to become better at that. I actually went to Animecon, of which I will post a video hopefully next week!
I think those were my only excuses, so I hope that once school is over I get more time to post. For now I have an unboxing video for you to enjoy! I hope you'll have a nice day!
After about three years I finally finished my favourite book series. The reason it took me so long is because I never really have the time to read, and when I do have the time I don't feel like reading. But last week I had a long train journey planned, so I decided I should use that time to finish the last book of the Chemical Garden trilogy.. And today I'm going to tell you why you should read it.
This trilogy, written by Lauren DeStefano, takes place in future USA, although it's not a good future. Due to failed experiments, women don't get older than twenty, and men don't get past the age of twenty-five. The whole world is chaos, and the USA has crumbled. There's not much left of the luxury there once was. Geneticist are trying desperately to find a cute, but so far they haven't succeeded. Personally it reminds me of things you see in stories about zombie apocalypses.
The sixteen-year-old main character, Rhine Ellery, lives in a house together with her twin brother, Rowan. They try to survive together, but one day Rhine gets kidnapped and sold as a bride. She gets to live in a giant mansion, along with her two sister brides; Jenna and Cecily. Her husband, Linden, is madly in love with her, but all Rhine can think about is escaping to find her brother. During her stay at the mansion many things happen, some of them are things that are a little suspicious. The only one being in the way of Rhine's escape is her father-in-law Vaughn, who seems to have many dark secrets.
The whole storyline is basically Rhine trying to find her brother, while time is running out for her. That may leave you wondering how you can write three books about that, but trust me, I wish there would be more books.
The Chemical Garden trilogy has three parts: Wither, Fever, and Sever (I read the Dutch translations, hence why the titles on the books in the photo are different).
The first part is basically an introduction to the situation, the problem, and the characters. Many interesting things happen here, and you really get to know everyone.
The second part is mainly Rhine's journey to find her brother. The second book really surprised me because there wasn't really that much progress in the search, but it was a really interesting part.
Reading the last part made me realise why the second part was important, as in the third part everything started to fall into place. I finally got answers to some of the questions I had, and I also was surprised a few times by some things that happened.
That's pretty much all I can say about the story without spoiling anything. In all honesty, I don't think I enjoyed any other book more than I did with these. Even though I read the Dutch translations, I think the wording of certain things was beautiful. It was very nice to read and I was completely sucked into the story when I would read it. It would always leave me wanting to know what would happen next. Although the things Rhine goes through are nothing I can relate with (thankfully), I really could feel her pain. I felt like I understood her and I was often left wondering how I would've handled the situations she was in. I found myself having a lot of respect for her (yes, I know she's fictional), and I was very pleased with the ending, because she definitely deserved that after all she went through.
Honestly I wish they would make it into a film series, but I think the second part will make that difficult as not much happens there. Or well, not enough for an entire film. Now that I think of it, a tv series would be a better option for these books. I would definitely recommend you to read these books, as they are greatly under appreciated in my opinion.
Do you have a favourite book? Let me know in the comments!
I can hear you thinking; noodles? Aren't those unhealthy? I thought you were gonna eat healthier?
Well.. I am eating healthier. But there's nothing wrong with sinning every now and then. And I love noodles so why not? Anyways..
I've been trying to find (cup) noodles that don't make me queasy afterwards. Like I enjoy eating noodles but then when I've finished the last bite I feel kinda sick and I don't know why. So I went to the Asian toko and picked a few brands I hadn't tried yet. Most of them made me feel nauseous but there was one that didn't: Soba noodles.
They come in four flavours: classic, teriyaki, chili, and curry. Now I don't really like spicy food so I din't try the chili and curry one, but I've heard that they're really nice. I bought the cup noodles and the packet noodles, just to see if there's any difference.
Let's first discuss the cup noodles. Just like other cup noodles you have to add hot water. I really like these because the lid has holes in it, so it's easy to get rid of the water. Unlike most other noodles these have a sauce instead of seasoning. I really liked that because it just added a lot more flavour to it.
I really love the classic noodles. They're great. Though they don't really have many veggies so it's mostly noodles and sauce. The teriyaki one was nice too, but it did make me queasy. It's weird because I love teriyaki sauce. But I guess it's just me being weird. The teriyaki one did have more veggies so that was a plus.
Now the packages. I didn't try the teriyaki one because I didn't feel like getting sick again. But I assume it's pretty much the same as the classic one. Because the difference I noticed was mainly that the noodles were softer, and so was the taste. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about that, because it wasn't worse than the cup noodles but it also wasn't better. All I know is that it's way easier to use the cup noodles because it doesn't require any cooking. But the cups are more expensive than the packages. (Soba noodles in general are more expensive than other noodles, but in my opinion it's worth it.)
Conclusion: I really like this brand. So far it's the best I've tried. Unless you get nauseous easily like me, I suggest you try all flavours because it's really worth it. Though remember that these kind of fast noodles aren't all too healthy, so don't eat them every day. Just use them to treat yourself every once in a while.
So, I once again managed to spend all my money in like a week. This is not a good start of the new year.. Oh well..
One thing I spent money on was some of the Bow Peeps' adorable bows. So let's give them a small review, shall we?
I found out about this cute store when someone I follow on instagram tagged them in a photo. I checked them out and was just staring at my laptop in awe, thinking "... I need this"
Their bows are really adorable and just very unique. They also make my inner geek happy as they have Pokemon themed bows, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and more.
I commented on one of their instagram posts, asking how much shipping was to the Netherlands. They replied fairly quickly and told me it was €7 (I think), BUT, if I left them a note with a second bow of my choice I would get it for free. I thought it was so kind of them that I didn't hesitate to order.
I ordered a bow-tie and a hair bow, but they can be used for both purposes as they have an alligator clip.
These were the bows I ordered; a bulbasaur inspired bow and a cute purple one. (Also their business card is really cute)
Shipping was quite fast, faster than I expected. I got it in about a week, which is unusual for something coming from the US. But I think I was just lucky. The package wasn't anything special, but to be honest I don't care about that. I mean, you throw it away after anyway. The important thing is the content.
It's nice that you can use the bows for different purposes, because I have short hair so I don't really wear hair bows, unless I wear a wig. I love bow-ties though.
What I love so much about the bows is that you can clearly see they are handmade with love. It seems like they really put their time and effort in it to make it look beautiful. Some people just try to do it quickly and don't care about mistakes, but these are really made with love.
