Lately I've been cleaning out my closet to make room for new clothes. Luckily for me, I got sent this cool t-shirt by Storedogdog! So let's review that, shall we?
About the store
I've known this store for about two years now and have personal contact with the owner. The store started because they used to supply for Inu Inu (and the following words are exactly why you shouldn't support them) but Inu Inu scammed them for a lot of money, leaving the owners of Storedogdog with a lot of items they couldn't do anything with. So they decided to start their own store and sell the items for a better price with free shipping. Inu Inu had been selling the same items for super high prices, and when they found out what Storedogdog was doing they tried to shut them down (which is super immature). Also Inu Inu claimed to have original designs but later turned out that only half of those were actual originals. The rest was sold by Storedogdog too so it came from a Chinese supplier.
The owner (and the rest of the team) of Storedogdog is always super helpful and replies as fast as possible. They are willing to reship items free of charge when it gets lost and want to make sure your order arrives safely.
Shipping and packaging
Storedogdog always has free shipping, which is awesome! It's usually pretty quick as well. They ship from China and I believe I got my order in like a week. The longest I had to wait for their package was 2 weeks, the average is about 10 days.
It's always safely packed and I've never ordered any items from them that turned out to be damaged.
I really love stripes and colours so this shirt is something I fell in love with. I had hoped it was a cotton shirt, as I find those a bit nicer to wear in warmer weather, but it turned out to be synthetic, so that's a bit of a bummer. However, it's of good quality and I think I will be wearing it quite a lot.
I really do recommend this store, as it's one of my favourites and I have a really good experience with it. The owner works very hard on it and you can definitely see that pay off. However since this store carries Asian fashion I want to give a warning to always look at the sizes. They are Asian sizes and thus smaller. If you want this shirt, you can buy it here.
*this is a sponsored post, however, my opinions are 100% honest.
I do a lot of online shopping, but if there's one store where I'm a repeat customer it's Happy Monday. In a review from 2 years ago I already told something about the company, so today I'm just gonna review what they send me. Because I've been a fan for over two years and I was very honoured when they asked me to promote something for them. So without further ado, let's start.
Shipping & Communication
I communicated with Happy Monday through instagram DMs, and because of that the communication went slow. They get hundreds of DMs every day, so I understand that they can't answer right away. It was a little unclear whether they had sent my package or not, but I knew I could trust them. They send me a random shirt, so it was a surprise too! The shipping usually takes 1 - 2 weeks for me, as they ship from Thailand. But this time they sent it without track & trace (which is cheaper, as they sent it for free) so it took 4 weeks. I didn't mind that much though. I can't really say how long it usually takes, as it's different for each country. But for me, when I order through their site and get a package with track & trace, it usually gets here quite quick.
The package & quality
It was sent in a regular plastic grey bag, as most clothes from Asian countries get sent in. So there was not problem with that. The shirt was in an extra transparent bag too, for protection. The quality of the shirt is simply amazing! It's super soft and and a little thick, which makes it strong. It's incredibly nice to wear. I asked for a size L, although I am a size M, but that's because some shirts tend to be a bit short on me so I just wanna be sure it fits. And I love oversizes shirts a lot. It fits very nicely, and for me it's a little oversized, but not too much. It's an Asian size L, after all.
As I said, I didn't know what I was gonna get, so it was a total surprise. But I'm super happy with this one! The text on it says "Happy Monday", and I really like the artwork on it. I'm a sucker for clothing with Japanese text on it, to be honest. So I think I'm gonna wear this shirt quite a lot!
All I can say about this is that I'm very very happy with this. I absolutely adore this store and this shirt, and I really appreciate all the hard work the staff puts into pleasing their customers. So I can't help but to give this a 5/5. If you wanna become their customer too, you can buy from them by clicking here.
* This post is sponsored, but my opinions are 100% honest
As some of you may know, I'm a huge fan of buying things from Aliexpress, or China in general. It's perfect for anyone on a budget, and they have a lot of cool stuff to offer! Today I'd like to share my 5 favourite Aliexpress stores with you. In an older post I talked about what you should pay attention to when ordering from Aliexpress, so if you decide to buy from the stores listed below, be sure to read that post too!
Whenever I'm on a clothing hunt on Aliexpress, my hunt starts with this store. I have ordered here multiple times, and I am never disappointed by it. The price is great, the quality is good, and the seller is very nice. I love the clothes and accessories they sell and I honestly wish I could buy it all!
2. House of Novelty
As I may have mentioned before, I LOVE stationary. It's seriously an unhealthy obsession. And all this store does is feed that obsession, because the things they sell are absolutely adorable! And it's all very cheap too! It's heaven on earth..
3. Aiuu Life Shop
Now, I haven't ordered from this store yet, but at least half of their items are currently on my wishlist. This store sells all kinds of bags with amazing designs on it, and although they are a little more expensive, the designs make it worth it. I hope to be ordering from them soon!
4. Fashion Sock
Just like I love stationary, I also love socks. Which is strange for someone who likes to walk barefoot as much as possible. But I just love cute socks with all kinds of patterns and design, in all colours! This shop sell so many socks for amazing prices! I really love them.
5. 3C Collection Wholesale Store
Another thing I love are phone cases. I think I currently own at least 7 of them. I just like to switch between them every now and then! But I noticed that here most phone cases that are available in stores are kinda plain and boring, an once again China offers a more fun alternative! This store sells phone cases for all kinds of smart phones, so eat your heart out!
Have you tried buying something from Aliexpress yet? Let me know in the comments!
Oh my, it surely has been a while since I made a blogpost. It's not because I was feeling lazy, but it was because I was busy and I felt like I had to take a break to prevent myself from getting overworked. So that's what I did! I can't promise I'll be as active as I was before, but I'm gonna try to post at least once a week.
Anyways, what is this blog post about? Well, fashion! I love styles that are different and unique, and recently I found a style called Kodona. It's also known as Kodona Ouji and Boystyle. Like a lot of other unique fashion styles, this one also originates from Japan. It reminds me of Victorian boy clothing, but you can get very creative with it! I think it's sort of the male version of Lolita, though it's genderless!
I honestly love this look and I'm aiming to get some of these clothes in my closet. But for now I improvised a bit with what I had, and I really love how this turned out!
What do you think? What's your favourite style at the moment? Let me know!
You know those days where you're on youtube, watching a cat video, and then another one, and another one, and another one? I have that too, except I google models. I don't know why, but I just like looking at them. I actually made a list with models that I think are absolutely gorgeous.
I don't think I ever want to be a model. I just don't like the industry, and the way they only portray a certain look. Yet I like looking at them. Especially the ones that are a little different. I don't think I can explain why I like it, but what I can do is show you some models that I adore. So let's do that.
1. Fernanda Hin Lin Ly
I absolutely adore this model's look. I love her pink hair and her fashion style. She's 19, just like me, and she's from Australia. You can follow her on instagram @warukatta.
2. Julia Johansen
I love red hair. I mean, I dyed my own hair red as well. My mother has beautiful red hair, and secretly I wish I would've inherited as well, but I got my father's dark blonde hair instead. Anyways, Julia is 21 and from Finland. In my opinion she's really pretty and I believe she's done quite some shoots and shows.
3. Winnie Harlow
I think some of you may have heard of her. The Canadian 21-year-old Winnie Harlow has a skin condition, but that didn't stop her from becoming a model. I honestly think she's stunning and she's absolutely unique. I think she proves that you don't have to be perfect to be successful. Although in my eyes she's beyond perfect.
4. Emily Ruhl
I really like this girl's look. Apart from red hair I also love very very very light blonde hair. I actually used to have that hair colour when I was a toddler, but it got darker as I got older. Emily is from the USA and I believe she's either 19 or 20, but I'm not entirely sure. But she's on her way to the top and has already done quite a few shoots and shows. You can find her on instagram @emily_ruhl
5. Chloe Norgaard
This girl is quickly making her way up to the top. Lately I actually saw her on a poster from Pieces and I kinda freaked out a little because I've known about her for over a year and seeing her on a poster like that made me happy. She's from the USA and I believe she's 24, or maybe 25, I'm not sure. But she's good at what she does. I love her hair, which is like a piece of art. And I love how the modelling business accepts and likes it as well. You can find her on instagram a well @chloenorgaard
Do you have a favourite model? Or maybe a favourite actress or actor? Let me know in the comments!
Remember when I said I was gonna post more? Yeah.. I failed at that..
Anyways, last weekend my sister came over and we went shopping. I bought some nice things for good prices, though afterwards I felt that guilt again because I really shouldn't spent any money. But it's too late for that. So let me show you what I bought!
I went to the H&M and the Primark. At the H&M there was a sale going on, and since I loooovee sale, I couldn't resist to buy a couple of things. I bought two pair of jeans, a blouse, and a pair of shorts.
At the Primark I only bought some basic things and a pair of shorts.
Beanie: €1 at Primark
I think it was a pretty good haul, though now I have to watch my money for the rest of the month. I'm working on getting a new wardrobe, as I'm trying to actually get some sort of fashion sense. Also that photo of me in shorts was a tough one to take, as I dislike my thighs a lot. But I'm working on getting more confident and trimming my thighs a bit by exercising and eating healthier. Anyway, I hope you had a good weekend and I wish you a happy week!
PS: For the music lovers out there; I made a soundcloud account where I'll be reposting some awesome tracks I find. Check it out here!
