For those that don't know me that long yet: I do cosplay. Basically cosplay means dressing up as your favourite characters. Today, I'm reviewing CosplaySky, who were kind enough to sponsor me. I've wanted to cosplay Amaimon from Ao No Exorcist for over a year now, so it's thanks to them that I could finally do that!
Let's get to it.
Cosplaysky.ca is a Canadian shop, which specialises in .tailor made costume making, and they have been doing so for more than five years. The cosplays on their side are all made by their more than 30 tailors from China. This means that they ship from China, and you'll get the costume directly from their tailors there. So no middle party involved.
Communication and shipping
CosplaySky offers custom size cosplays, which is very convenient for me, as I'm tall and have a smaller waist and big hips. So all I had to do was give them my measurements, and they would make sure it would be a perfect fit. The communication apart from talking about the measurements went rather smoothly. They replied quickly and were very helpful. However, it seems English isn't their first language, as there were quite some grammar mistakes. But since I deal with a lot of China based companies, I didn't mind. I understood what they meant, and that's the most important thing to me.
After having placed my order, it took about three weeks for them to make the costume and for me to get it. So I think that's rather quick, considering it's a custom made item and considering the fact it had to be shipped from China. So I'm very happy with that.
I chose Amaimon from Ao No Exorcist, as I've been wanting to cosplay him for a long time.
The cosplay arrived in a large package, and was in multiple plastic layers. It was securely packed, so there was no damage whatsoever. It also came with a card that had my measurements on it.
The cosplay consists of a coat, a blouse, a waistcoat, pants, a tie, and a belt. The socks and arm sleeves weren't included, but I knew that from the beginning. So I went ahead and fixed something myself (only to find out later that the socks and arm sleeves aren't matching, but oh well). They were custom made, and they fit perfectly. The only advice that I could give people is to add 2cm to your measurements. Although they fit me perfectly, I would've liked a little extra space, because when I sit down the pants get a little tight. But other than that it's great! The quality is very high too, as the materials are quite thick and just look very neat. So I'm very impressed with that!
I'm very satisfied with this cosplay, and just the way everything was handled. The people of CosplaySky are very nice, the shipping was within my expectations, the sizing was done right and the cosplay looks amazing. So I'd give them a 10/10! I would definitely get a costume from them again.

Other awesome cosplays you can check out are: Harley Quinn, Madoka Magica, Fire Emblem Fates, Elsa Coronation dress, and Nico Yawaza. They all look very cool and well made!

A while ago I got the opportunity to review Rolecosplay. As some of you may know, I'm a cosplayer, so this collaboration was very exciting to me! I got to review a Yato (from Noragami) cosplay, which was on my wishlist. If you don't feel like reading it, you can scroll to the bottom of this post to watch the unboxing video.
Rolecosplay is a company in China that manufactures and sells costumes and wigs. The prices are average to cheap. The contact I had with Rolecosplay was very good. Responses varied between being quick and slow. Sometimes only an hour passed, sometimes a few days. Of course there is also time difference which influences the response speed. They were very helpful, though! So communication with them was good.
Shipping & packaging
The shipping was estimated to take 2-3 weeks. But it took about 5 weeks. However, this is not to blame on Rolecosplay. Around the time the package was sent it was close to Christmas, and thus China post had an overload of packages. And because of that overload there were massive delays. Not only got this package delayed, but also 3 of my other packages from other companies were delayed. Because of this I know it was China post's fault, and was Rolecosplay not to blame. This does mean that I cannot review the shipping time properly. The packaging was good. It was packaged like most cosplays I've ordered were packaged. I liked that they had a customised package!
When I unpacked the cosplay I was really happy! It looked super good. Apart from the crown on the jacket that was done a little bit messily I really loved the quality. However, someone pointed out to me that the colour blue in the costume isn't accurate with the anime. I didn't even notice that at first, but it's true. It doesn't bother me, though.
The cosplay is super comfortable and fits perfectly! The sleeves are slightly short on me, but being a tall person I'm used to that. Other than that it's perfect. The fabric is smooth and comfortable and I feel very confident in this cosplay. Now I just need to perfect my make-up and it'll be even more perfect! If you want to see a full view of the cosplay you can watch the unboxing video below!
Overall I'm quite happy with this cosplay and company. I recommend buying from them, and my rating is as follows: 4/5 for communication, 4/5 for quality of the cosplay, and 2.5/5 for shipping. Giving them a 3.5/5 total. Despite the shipping delay being out of their control, it's my first impression of them. However they did ship it out rather quickly after I paid so that's why they got a 2.5/5. But if I order from them again and the shipping is faster the rating will definitely go up!

As promised, here is the video report of Animecon! I had so much fun that I forgot to film a lot, so it's kinda short. But I hope it gives you an impression of what it was like!
Yesterday I did another costest (cosplay test) for Juuzou Suzuya (from Tokyo Ghoul) and it worked out quite well! I'm planning on cosplaying him on Abunai con. I hope to make a report of Abunai as well when the time comes.
Below are some pictures of the costest and pictures that were taken of me and my friend at Animecon!
